Available to withdraw (Cash): The maximum amount of cash available to withdraw from this account without incurring any interest charges. This amount includes cash and money market funds, executed trades that have settled and cash deposits/withdrawals. Orders to sell securities will not increase this value until the order settles.
Available to withdraw (Cash using margin): The cash and margin available to withdraw funds without generating a margin call. This amount includes cash and money market funds, bank deposits, margin loan availability, executed trades that have settled and cash deposits/withdrawals. If the maximum is withdrawn, you could still be required to add money to your account.
The amount you have available to withdraw using margin can increase based on the types of securities you sell. Sell orders of marginable securities increase the amount available to withdraw with margin the next business day. Transactions to sell cash securities increase that value when the trade settles.
Higher margin requirements for certain securities, including concentrated positions, are not included in this value. Orders for securities with higher margin requirements could reduce the amount of cash available to withdraw using margin and may require you to add money to your account.
Your available balances don’t apply to scheduled or recurring transfers.
Balances may not reflect pending transactions or trades that include but aren’t limited to: Cash-covered puts; trades with settlement dates other than T (trade date) +1; pending charges or payments; transfer fees; open orders that execute later; and outstanding checks.
